The first recipe I tentatively shared on this newsletter was for my Banana Bread Cookies:
Now, here’s my Christmas version! These are stuffed with chocolate, cranberries, almonds and marzipan, with a back note of orange and cinnamon. A delightfully chewy, cookie shaped ode to German Christmas bread, Stollen.
Am I too early with these? Will a whole bunch of American folk be throwing their hands up in the air muttering ‘can we get Thanksgiving out of the way first please?!’
I’ve just reread this paragraph and remembered that muttering your quibbles is a past time wholly reserved for the British.
Besides, these cookies are full of cranberries. I have it on good authority that no Thanksgiving dinner is complet…
