Love love love the sound of this cheesecake - have been meaning to try a sweet one with feta as well.

I love all kinds of cheesecake but had a particularly strong craving for old school German cheesecake the way my grandma made it during this second pregnancy. German baked cheesecake is typically made with Quark and raisins and often crustless and it can be quite sturdy rather than creamt but I adore it!

Thank you! So pleased you like it.

Ahhh, I read about German cheesecake too! I should have included it. I may well give it a go one of these days!

Gorgeous recipe, Shell, and I love the flavour combinations, especially rosemary and thyme. I've not made much cheesecake, although I do love the burnt Basque variety. This looks like one to try!

The rosemary in this really makes it. And I love a Burnt Basque! So creamy and delicious!

Love a beautiful cheesecake, and this one checks more boxes than required!

I am going to make it for my son when he is home from school - he is my cheesecake connoisseur.

Great post!

Thank you very much! I hope your son enjoys it. It isn't as sweet as other cheesecakes, so if he likes the sweetness, you can up the honey. 😊
